Lunch & Learn takes place at the Visitors Suite, Innovation Gateway. These events will offer attendees the chance to hear directly from the UK’s most influential voices in cancer research and drug discovery. The sessions are open to Innovation Gateway tenants and the wider London Cancer District community, and will provide an informal opportunity to connect with others working across the ecosystem. Join us for an informative in-person Lunch and Learn with Professor Kevin Harrington
On Monday 2nd November between 12:00-13:00 hear from Professor Kevin Harrington, NIHR Senior Investigator and Head of Radiotherapy at the ICR, and also the Co-Director for the ICR/RM CRUK RadNet Centre of Excellence.
The talk will focus on his research on immunotherapy, radiotherapy and oncolytic virotherapy. Professor Harrington has led a number of clinical trials and his research group focuses on radiosensitisation through ATR inhibition, innate, STING-mediated immune agonism and herpes viruses as oncolytic immunotherapies; he currently holds two CRUK programme grants in support of this work. With over 670 peer-reviewed articles and 55 book chapters to his name, we are honoured to have him share his expertise and experience.
Lunch will be provided and everyone is welcome from the wider London Cancer Hub community.
